Archive on the works

We finally started working more on the archive side of the site. Right now a lot of it is still placeholder stuff while I go through a stupid amount of old files, but the plan is to put pretty much everything I can find there.

Pancho + Megu React Archives

The Pancho archive should have every episode I can find, including unreleased episodes that never got posted anywhere.

I also found most of the old source files for Pancho, so I am converting a lot of the episodes to HD instead of just uploading the old compressed versions. Not every episode has a perfect source file but most of them should look way better than the old uploads.

Same thing with Megu React. A bunch of those videos got removed or banned from YouTube over the years, so I want to put them here too instead of just letting them disappear.

I am also adding download links for the videos. If you want to save them on your PC and keep them forever, go ahead. Who knows if YouTube is even going to be there forever right? Also gives me a place to share stuff YouTube says is a no-no.

A lot of old music

The music archive is gonna be huge. I have unreleased albums, unreleased songs, test tracks, unfinished stuff, abandoned ideas and a lot of random garbage sitting around.

It is basically decades of work. You will get to hear everything from complete trash, shit music, horrible quality, the potato laptop days, to stuff that is somehow mid quality now lol.

Most if not all of it will probably be dumped under CC0. Honestly a lot of these tracks are probably unusable anyway unless you are into really experimental weird stuff made by a fella who only had a potato laptop back in the day.

What I am working on first

The archives are not the main focus yet. Right now the plan is:

1. Get at least 20 Megupets on the site.
2. Add at least 20 items.
3. Add at least 20 bosses.
4. Add at least 5 CC0 Art assets to the new Public Domain Assets section.
5. Then start filling the archives properly.

So yeah, the new Art / Public Domain Assets section is part of this too. I want to start with at least 5 things there and keep adding more later.

No paywalls

Nothing here is going behind a paywall. Same as always, if I put it on Megupets you can grab it for free.

If you want to support the site you can donate through Twitch or grab a tier on Patreon. You dont have to tho.

New content?

There is probably not gonna be a bunch of new content anytime soon other than trainers.

Thats it for now. I am trying to post at least once every other week with updates so there is some kind of record of what I am doing around here.

It’s been a couple of years, but Megupets is back — and we’ve been cooking.

This new version of the site is more than just a place to look at things. Your Megupets account connects directly with our Discord community, giving you your own profile, social features, rewards, and — most importantly — your own little companion.

Your Pet, Your Room

Every linked player gets a pet with its own room that you can decorate however you like.

Your pet doesn’t have to stay home, either. Pets are free to wander around Megupets unless their owner decides to contain them.

You can even send your pet over to somebody else’s room for a Play Date. If you feel like staying for a while, go ahead.

SLEEPOVER!!!

You may find other players’ pets visiting your room, wandering around the site, sleeping, eating, or generally getting into things they probably shouldn’t.

Megupets + Discord

The website is connected to our Discord server through Buri, our Megupets bot.

Link your account with !login and your website profile becomes part of the same Megupets world.

There’s a lot to do on Discord:

• Boss Battles — fight alone or team up with friends for rewards.
• Pet Raids — take your pets into battle and work together.
• Gamba — because making responsible financial decisions with imaginary money is boring.
• Inventory & Items — collect, use, trade, and discover items.
• Levels & Equipment — level up your account and equip gear for stat bonuses so bosses stand absolutely no chance.
• Coupons — discover secret words scattered around Megupets and redeem them for rewards.
• Dailies — keep your streak alive and earn Daily Tickets.
• Website Gifts & Rewards — claim rewards on the site and redeem them directly through Discord.
• Social Profiles — customize your profile, leave comments, add friends, poke people, and visit their pets.

And that’s only part of it.

Money! Sort Of.

Megupets has several currencies to collect.

Coins are your everyday currency.

Lemons are lemons. Obviously.

Daily Tickets come from keeping up with your dailies and can be exchanged for rewards.

And then there’s Aura.

Aura is much harder to get. It’s a rare currency that largely comes from interacting and trading with other players, so when somebody has a pile of Aura, you know they’ve been busy.

Free Stuff

Yes, we like free things too.

You’ll occasionally find gifts and rewards available directly on the website. Claim them while they’re active and redeem them through your linked Discord account.

Some rewards disappear quickly, so maybe don’t stare at them for three hours before clicking.

This Is Only the Beginning

Megupets is still growing.

More pets, bosses, items, rooms, decorations, rewards, events, and strange little features are on the way.

Some things may change. Some things may break. Some things may appear at 3 AM that nobody remembers adding.

That’s part of the fun.

For now, explore the site, decorate your pet’s room, visit somebody else, collect some rewards, fight something unnecessarily large on Discord, and enjoy being back.
